What Level Do You Need for Beaststalker Armor Set?

The set pieces require a character level between 52 and 58. Tunic from General Drakkisath has the highest level requirement. Blizzard designed Scholomance and Stratholme for levels 58–60. We recommend placing an order from level 58 so your character can equip each piece as soon as it drops.

What Stats Does Beaststalker Armor Set Have?

Each piece of armor gives the hunter Agility and Stamina. Another stat on most pieces is Intellect, which increases the mana pool. The item level ranges from 57 ilvl for Bindings to 63 ilvl for Tunic. All of the hunter’s T0 armor is mail.

Beaststalker Set Drop Locations

A hunter needs to run four different dungeons to complete the T0 set. Six of the eight pieces drop from bosses in Scholomance, Stratholme, and both halves of Blackrock Spire. Regular mobs in these dungeons drop Belt and Bindings. Blizzard does not provide official drop rates for Forever. That's why data from Classic for each slot serves as a guide.

Gloves, Belt, and Bindings in the hunter’s T0 set are BoE. Players sell these pieces on their world’s auction house. The remaining five pieces from bosses are BoP. WoW binds these items to the owner on pickup. Your character must collect each of them from a boss in the dungeon.

Beaststalker Armor Bonuses in Forever

The set bonuses in Forever follow a new five-threshold system. Blizzard has abandoned the eight-piece bonus, as in other dungeon sets. Each threshold of this system gives the hunter a specific bonus:

  • Two pieces - resistance to all schools of magic
  • Three pieces - Attack Power bonus
  • Four pieces - chance to remove a Root effect
  • Five pieces - chance to restore mana with an auto-attack
  • Six pieces - mana regeneration

The second change affected the stats on the T0 armor itself. Blizzard removed Spirit from most T0 items across all classes. We consider this loss to be minor for any hunter. The six-piece bonus restores mana regeneration through the armor itself. This allows the hunter to do without Spirit on every T0 item.

Hunter Pre-Raid BiS with Tier 0

Players do not have an exact list of hunter pre-raid BiS gear for Forever. Hurricane now deals 6–11 Frost damage on every auto-attack.

Black Market Auction House in Powderfuse Port (Riverglades) gives an alternative to drops. Madam Swyndle auctions off Tier 0 Mantle, Pants, and Boots there.
