  5. Order Completion

    You check the run’s results with the operator. They’ll show you the entire Tier 0.5 set in your character’s bags and the challenge in the Legacy window. You can leave a review of the run on the ChaosBoost website.

Where Does Darkmantle Armor Set Drop?

All eight pieces come as rewards for Tier 0.5 chain quests. The Alliance exchanges Shadowcraft pieces of the same slot for them with Deliana in Ironforge. The Horde does the same with Mokvar in Orgrimmar. The summonable bosses in the quest chain do not drop Tier 0.5 items.

What Level Do You Need for Darkmantle Armor Set?

The game unlocks Tier 0.5 quests for characters at level 58. The Shadowcraft pieces for the exchange require up to level 58. All quests in the chain are level 60 and lead to Forever’s level-cap dungeons. That's why we recommend ordering the chain at level 60.

What Stats Does Darkmantle Armor Set Have?

Each piece gives Agility and Stamina at ilvl 55-66. Five of the eight pieces also give Strength. Rogues gain special effects from the Epic Cap, Tunic, and Boots pieces: 1% critical strike chance, 2% hit chance, and a bonus to stealth level.

Can I Join the Runs Myself?

Darkmantle Set Upgrade Path

The upgrade path for the Shadowcraft set to Tier 0.5 follows the Valthalak quest chain. A rogue receives eight pieces from this chain instead of the Shadowcraft set. The chain leads from “An Earnest Proposition” through Gadgetzan, the Eastern Plaguelands, and Blackrock Mountain to the final quest, “Saving the Best for Last.” Bodley’s “Brazier of Beckoning” summons the bosses of the quest chain in five dungeons:

Bodley sent the rogue on two of these summons in Classic. The rogue took the left fragment of the amulet from Jarien and Sothos in Stratholme. He received the right fragment from Isalien in Dire Maul East. Our team’s Rank 1 boosters will handle these fights with your character. You won’t have to look for a group for every summon in the chain.

The final summon for all classes takes place in The Beast’s chambers inside Upper Blackrock Spire. UBRS is a dungeon for level 59-60 characters. This dungeon features seven bosses and the rare Jed Runewatcher.

The quest chain stages required Shadowcraft pieces as well as materials and gold in Classic. “An Earnest Proposition” took Shadowcraft bracers along with 20 gold. It also required 15 Winterspring Blood Samples for the Alliance or Silithus Venom Samples for the Horde. Our team completes all these stages with your character. Darkmantle Armor Pieces and Bonuses

Shadowcraft and its upgrade give +8 to all resistances for two pieces. The Shadowcraft tooltip then adds +30 AP and a 5% chance to remove a slow effect. The final thresholds give a chance to restore 20 energy on a melee hit and 15 health regeneration every 5 seconds. The upgrade transfers this regeneration to the third piece and the slow removal to the fifth. It gives a +40 AP bonus for any six pieces of the set:

The seventh and eighth Tier 0.5 pieces do not give any new bonuses. You receive all eight pieces for your character and choose six to equip. We recommend filling the remaining slots with raid gear from the ten-player Barrow Deeps or the 40-player Onyxia’s Lair. You’ll retain all set bonuses and enhance your character with raid loot.

Darkmantle Set for WoW Forever Rogues

Darkmantle set bridges the Tier 0.5 gap for rogues between Shadowcraft and raid gear. New tier sets in World of Warcraft Forever come from the 20-player Hyjal Summit raid with 13 bosses.
