How WoW Forever City of Dalaran Boosting Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose one, three, or five runs on the service page. They can include your faction’s quests, loot priority, and + attunement for a character without a key. Quick checkout opens a form on the same page.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the price. Enter your personal 10% discount code from registration in the promo code field and confirm by clicking Apply.
  3. Team Booking

Operators receive the order upon payment. They begin assembling a team (including a key holder) for your run within 5 minutes in most cases. The operator will coordinate the start time with you.
  4. Service Execution

The leader sends a group invitation by the start time. You can collect loot, watch the fights, or participate in them. Rank 1 boosters will guide your character through the sewers and city streets from Atrexis the Grave Knight to Shade of the Archmage.
  5. Order Completion

The operator will review the results of each run with you. You’ll verify the kills of all seven bosses with them, as well as the loot and extras you specified in the order. You can leave a review of the run on the website.

Killing the final boss and having the rewards in your bags completes the service. Our team will rerun the instance for free if any boss, loot, or extras from the order are missing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where Is City of Dalaran?

The instance sits in Alterac Mountains on the shore of Lordamere Lake. Its entrance is through the sewer gates behind the city’s northwest wall. Image of Archmage Modera waits for players there with dungeon quests. One player’s key unlocks these gates for the entire group.

What Level Is City of Dalaran?

Blizzard designed this instance for characters of levels 28–33. The game begins issuing dungeon quests at level 24. Our + attunement option is available to characters of level 30 and above, as the quest chain to the key unlocks at that level. Rare items from bosses require levels 25 through 30.

How Long Does a City of Dalaran Run Take?

A full clear of the instance takes around 30–40 minutes. The group starts with Atrexis the Grave Knight in the sewers. Then it faces six bosses on the city streets up to the Violet Citadel. The quest option extends the route because the team collects items for your faction’s quests.

What Do You Need From Me?

You specify the region (US with Oceania or EU), the ruleset, and the faction in your order. Blizzard maintains a single shared World of Warcraft Forever world for each ruleset from Normal to Hardcore. Characters cannot transfer between these worlds or factions. That's why we tie every WoW Forever boost to these three parameters.

City of Dalaran Loot and Violet Sorcerer's Vestments

City of Dalaran loot consists of rare items with an ilvl of 31–35 for tanks, healers, and DPS. The game binds these items to the character upon pickup (BoP). You won’t have to roll versus our team for these items when you enable the loot priority option. We recommend three runs for a specific weapon and five runs for set pieces or blueprints with a low drop rate. Players come to this instance for the following items:

  • Guardian's Dualblade - a 33 ilvl two-handed axe from Unstable Sentinel. The axe can give the wielder 1,080 armor for 12 seconds when they take damage.
  • Spine of the Devourer - a Mana Devourer staff with +14 Stamina and a bonus of up to +36 to spell damage and healing.
  • Felbough Arm - a 34 ilvl polearm from Fel Ancient for Agility-based fighters. It gives +10 Agility, +9 Nature Resistance, and a bonus to hit chance.
  • Archmagister's Faceted Pendant - a Shade of the Archmage amulet with +6 Intellect and +12 attack power. The amulet’s Use effect increases experience from killing undead by 10% for 5 minutes.
  • Ponderous Orb - an off-hand item from the same boss. Healers pick it up for the +8 Spirit and up to +11 healing.
  • Blueprint: Spinning Wheel and Blueprint: Arcane Salvager - blueprints for Camping items that require Tailoring 140 and Enchanting 140. Unstable Sentinel and Shade of the Archmage drop them at a low rate.

Violet Sorcerer's Vestments is a five-piece cloth set for casters. Bosses give two pieces (Violet Sorcerer's Robes from Arcanic Enigma and Violet Sorcerer's Mantle from Shade of the Archmage). Mobs on the city streets drop the other three pieces. This allows you to collect the set in the same runs without separate farming.

Two pieces of the set give +5 Arcane Resistance. Five pieces give a chance to summon an Arcane elemental with every damaging spell.

Dalaran Sewer Key and Attunement

Sewer Key unlocks the city sewers for a full group of five players. Our City of Dalaran boost provides a key holder from our team. You won’t have to complete the quest chain just for a single run. The + attunement option completes the chain on your character so the key remains on your keyring for future runs.

Both factions receive the key along with the Heart of Disruption quest from Image of Archmage Modera at level 30. The Alliance reaches her via An Alarming Request from Emissary Jacques in Southshore. Horde characters receive the quests Prison Break In, Key to the City, and Dalaran Patrols from Magus Wordeen Voidglare in Tarren Mill.

Grimy Key from Key to the City is a quest item and does not open the gates. The Horde’s next step is Blood in the Streets. Our + attunement option will save you from running back and forth between Tarren Mill and the walls of Dalaran.

Dalaran Dungeon Quests and Bosses

WoW Forever City of Dalaran gives eight quests to characters of levels 28–33. Each faction gets four of them, each worth 9,400 experience points. These quests are more important than killing mobs for leveling because Blizzard has reduced the experience from dungeon mobs. The quest option allows you to get the experience for these tasks in the same run. Our run covers seven of the eight bosses, from Atrexis the Grave Knight to Shade of the Archmage (the secret Lyn the Ignored comes as a separate product).
