How This Service Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the number of runs and extras on the service page. Extras add Alliance quests or priority on BoP loot to each run. Quick checkout opens a form on the same page for region, ruleset, and faction.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens a window where you can select a payment method. A personal 10% discount code for signing up works through the promo code field and the Apply button. Your account balance can cover up to 100% of the order price.
  3. Team Booking

The operator begins the booking process within 5 minutes of payment in most cases. They assemble a team of Rank 1 boosters for the dungeon. You’ll coordinate the start time with them, as well as your preferences regarding loot and quests.
  4. Service Execution

The team leader will send you a group invite at the start of the run. Your character will defeat eight bosses with Rank 1 boosters and collect their loot. You can watch the fights or participate in them.
  5. Order Completion

The operator will go over the results with you. They will close the order after this check. You can then leave a review on the ChaosBoost website about the loot and the team.

We complete the service when your character has defeated all eight bosses in every run of the package and received the extras from the order. Our team will rerun the dungeon for free if any boss, reward, or extra is missing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Level Is Deadmines?

Blizzard designed WoW Forever Deadmines for characters of levels 17–26. The dungeon’s bosses are level 19–21. We recommend ordering a run from level 17, because at that level your character can equip First Mate Band and pieces of the Defias Leather set. Players can accept most of the quests from the extras at levels 14–15.

Where Is Deadmines?

The entrance to Deadmines is in the Defias Hideout building in the southwest of Moonbrook. This town lies in the southern part of the zone, west of Elwynn Forest. The dungeon portal is at the end of the caves beneath the Defias Hideout. Alliance characters can fly to Sentinel Hill and take a shortcut to Moonbrook.

How Long Does a Deadmines Run Take?

A full clear of Deadmines from Rhahk'Zor to Cookie takes 20–30 minutes. The quest option extends its duration. Some of the Alliance objectives lie in the mine before the portal, outside the instance. The operator will coordinate with you on the schedule for packages of three and five runs.

Can Horde Players Order This Run?

A Horde player can order a run for loot and Novice Spelunker credit. All seven dungeon quests belong to the Alliance. That's why a Horde character needs a run without the quest option. The Horde’s route to Moonbrook is longer because it starts with a ship from Ratchet in The Barrens and goes through Stranglethorn Vale.

How Does Loot Priority Work?

The priority option gives your character first claim to BoP items in the dungeon. Boosters do not take these items for themselves. Deadmines loot drops by chance on every boss kill. A three- or five-run package gives your character more attempts at First Mate Band from Mr. Smite and Blackened Defias Armor from Edwin VanCleef.

Deadmines Quests in WoW Forever

The quest option adds seven Alliance quests from Sentinel Hill and Stormwind to the run. Running with our team does not give your character experience from mobs, because Blizzard has disabled it for groups with a player who is many levels higher than those mobs. That's why Deadmines quests remain the main source of XP in this run. The rewards for these quests also give 18–24 ilvl gear.

Gryan Stoutmantle on Sentinel Hill is waiting for Edwin VanCleef's head for the finale of The Defias Brotherhood. You choose a 24 ilvl reward from three options for this finale. Scout Riell on the same hill asks for ten Red Silk Bandanas from elite Defias mobs. This allows you to complete both objectives in a single run. The new Forever quest Destruction in Deadmines requires you to blow up the forge in Gilnid's hall.

Wilder Thistlenettle and Shoni the Shilent in Stormwind have three more quests. The items for Collecting Memories and Oh Brother... drop from undead in the mine before the portal. Underground Assault asks for Gnoam Sprecklesprocket from Sneed's Shredder. So you can turn in all three quests in Stormwind after a single run. A letter from VanCleef unlocks the seventh quest The Unsent Letter, which leads to Seal of Wrynn.

Deadmines Loot Table and Rewards

Blizzard has revamped the loot from bosses and trash mobs in this dungeon for World of Warcraft Forever. Most items from the eight bosses now have rare quality and new stats. This allows your character to collect rare gear during leveling. Rockslicer from Rhahk'Zor even extracts ore from Copper to Iron veins without the Mining profession, thanks to its 30 charges. We consider the four most valuable rewards from this dungeon to be:

  • Defias Leather - Four pieces of this leather set give a 5% chance to inflict Bleed when you hit from behind. The fifth piece adds +1 to the Daggers skill.
  • First Mate Band - This new 22 ilvl ring requires level 17. The Partners in Crime set with an epic ring for level 60 gives +22 Strength.
  • Blueprint: Cookie's Feast - Cookie drops this blueprint for cooks with Cooking 140. The feast from it feeds the entire party at camp with Stamina food.
  • Blueprint: Journeyman Campfire - A cook with Cooking 90 can learn from it how to set up a campfire for five camp slots. Players can find it in this dungeon and in Wailing Caverns.

Edwin VanCleef and Captain Greenskin each give one piece of Defias Leather. The other three pieces drop from trash mobs. We recommend a package of five runs for players who want to collect the full Defias Leather set for a Rogue or another melee class in leather. The bonus from three pieces grants the character +15 attack power against humanoids. This set is also available on ChaosBoost as a separate item in the Items section.

Deadmines Level Range and Location

This dungeon concludes the storyline of Westfall for characters of levels 17–26. WoW Forever Deadmines features eight bosses from Rhahk'Zor to Edwin VanCleef and the rare Miner Johnson, who does not appear on every run. Killing Edwin VanCleef in Deadmines counts toward the Novice Spelunker Legacy challenge, which rewards one point. Our team completes this requirement in a single run. You won’t have to assemble a group just for one of the six dungeons in the challenge.
