Dreadmist Raiment Set: How It Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the main options and extras on the service page. Quick checkout opens a form on the same page for your character's details. You specify the region, ruleset, and faction there.

  2. Payment

ChaosBoost accounts receive a personal 10% discount code upon registration. Enter this code in the promo code field and click Apply. The Buy now button opens the payment options, where your account balance can cover up to 100% of the price.

  3. Booking

Operators receive your order as soon as you pay. They begin the booking process within 5 minutes in most cases and assemble a team. The operator will coordinate the start time with you.

  4. Service Execution

The team leader will send you an invitation to join the group. Rank 1 boosters will run Scholomance, UBRS, and Stratholme with your character. You can watch the fights or participate in them according to the leader's instructions on Discord.

  5. Order Completion

You'll review the results of each run with the operator. Then you can leave feedback on our team's work on the ChaosBoost website.

The operator closes the order once all items and extras are in your bags. Our team will repeat the run for free if any item from the order is missing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who Can Use Dreadmist Raiment Set?

Blizzard designed Dreadmist as a Tier 0 set for warlocks. Mages and priests can also wear these items without any class restrictions. We still recommend that these classes use their own Magister's Regalia and Vestments of the Devout. Their bonuses in Forever work for the roles of mages and priests.

What Level Do You Need for Dreadmist Raiment Set?

Dreadmist item requirements range from level 52 for Bracers to level 58 for Robe. Mask and Leggings drop from the final bosses in Scholomance and Stratholme for levels 58-60. We recommend starting to farm these items at level 58. So your character can equip each piece as soon as it drops.

What Stats Does Dreadmist Raiment Set Have?

The five Dreadmist bonuses give resistances, spell power, and mana regeneration. Four- and five-piece bonuses function as fear and healing proc effects. Item levels range from 57 for Bracers to 63 for Robe.

Do I Need to Play During the Runs?

You don't need to participate in fights alongside your team. Five of the eight set pieces are BoP. That's why your character remains in the group and loots them on its own. You can go AFK with the AFK option on the service page.

Where to Farm Dreadmist Set

Dreadmist set pieces drop from bosses and trash mobs in six level 60 dungeons. The final bosses of Scholomance, UBRS, and Stratholme give Mask, Robe, and Leggings with the highest ilvl in the set, and they are BoP. Loot from these bosses includes items from all nine Tier 0 sets. That's why a warlock does not receive their specific item from every kill. The numbers from Classic serve as a guide, since Blizzard does not publish drop rates for Forever:

ItemSourceDrop Rate in Classic
MaskDarkmaster Gandling, Scholomance11%
RobeGeneral Drakkisath, UBRS12%
LeggingsBaron Rivendare, Stratholme10%
Five other itemsSix dungeonsVaries by item

Three of these dungeons are in Blackrock Mountain (BRD, LBRS, and UBRS). Dire Maul, Scholomance, and Stratholme round out this list. Bracers and Wraps dropped from trash mobs in Classic with a drop rate of 2% to 4%. Our team will farm all these dungeons with your character until every item on your order is in your bags. You won't have to look for groups to run trash mobs for a 2% chance.

Dreadmist Mask and Bonus Changes

The set helmet has retained an ilvl of 62 and a level 57 requirement in Forever. Mask gave +23 Intellect in Classic, more than any of the other seven pieces. But Blizzard has restructured the bonus system for all Tier 0 sets in World of Warcraft Forever and removed the eight-piece threshold. That's why players receive the spell power bonus from the third piece. Five new bonuses enhance spellcasters' performance and character survivability:

  • Two pieces - the set grants +8 to all resistances. This bonus required all eight pieces in Classic.
  • Three pieces - spells gain up to +18 to damage and healing.
  • Four pieces - a strike against the character has a chance to cause the enemy to flee for 2 seconds.
  • Five pieces - each cast has a chance to heal you for 270-330 health.
  • Six pieces - the character regenerates 8 mana every 5 seconds.

Warlock Pre-Raid BiS with Dreadmist Raiment

There are no definitive lists of warlock pre-raid BiS gear for Forever. But six Dreadmist set pieces cover all the bonuses and leave the warlock with two free slots. We recommend Robe of the Void from Tailoring for the chest slot. This BoP robe gives +46 spell power and heals your pet in Forever just as it does in Classic.

Players can also obtain Dreadmist armor through the Black Market Auction House (BMAH). This auction house has listed Dreadmist Mantle and Robe with starting bids of 400 g. We consider BMAH a backup option for two of the eight slots. The outcome of each listing there depends on other players' budgets. Ordering from ChaosBoost gets you all eight items from dungeons without having to bid.
