How This Service Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose one, three, or five runs. Select any extras on the service page. Quick checkout opens a form on the same page and asks for the region, ruleset, and character’s faction.
  2. Payment

The “Buy now” button opens the payment method selection. Enter your personal ChaosBoost account code for a 10% discount in the promo code field and click “Apply.” An email with order details will arrive in your inbox.
  3. Booking

The order reaches the operators upon payment. They begin the booking process within 5 minutes in most cases. The operator selects a team based on your faction and ruleset and coordinates the start time with you.
  4. Service Execution

The leader invites you to the group at the start of the run. Rank 1 boosters will kill bosses (from Saltspine to Relic Guardian) alongside your character and help you complete the objectives. You can watch the fights or participate in them.
  5. Order Completion

You review the results with the operator. Then you can leave your feedback about the Excavation Site run on the ChaosBoost website.

The operator closes the order once your character has received all loot and completed the objectives. Our team will rerun the dungeon for free if any bosses, rewards, or extras are missing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Level Is Excavation Site?

Blizzard designed Excavation Site Wetlands for level 24-29 characters. Relic Guardian at the end of the dungeon is level 31. The level difference gives a group of five level 24 characters more misses and dodges. Our team handles the fight against Relic Guardian.

How Long Does an Excavation Site Run Take?

A full clear of the dungeon takes an average of 20-35 minutes. Your character will collect quest items such as Horrible Rootcore from Highland Horror on the way across the open map. Excavation Site boost for three or five runs will take longer. That's why the operator will coordinate the start time for each of them with you at the time of booking.

What Do I Need Before the Run?

You’ll need a character of level 24 or higher and an active WoW subscription. Your character should pick up any quests that start outside the dungeon before the run begins. NPCs from your faction offer them in the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Operators will help you choose the number of runs and extras for your WoW Forever boost, if needed.

How Many Runs Should I Order?

One run is enough to complete most objectives and earn credit toward the Novice Spelunker Legacy Challenge. We recommend three or five runs for players who need loot from bosses. This includes gear for your armor type, Blueprint: Greenhouse, or Ring of Power Regulation. Experience from repeat runs remains low.

Excavation Site Quests in WoW Forever

WoW Forever Excavation Site leads all new dungeons in terms of the number of quests. All 14 quests require level 24. Nine of them are for the Alliance and five for the Horde. Their objectives lie inside the dungeon and on its bosses. This allows you to earn experience and rewards along with boss loot.

The main rewards come from five chains:

  • Songblade Search - A quest from Dorin Songblade in Lakeshire sends the Alliance to search for his brother Daewyn at the excavation site. Fallen in the Fen continues the chain and rewards a Mail or Cloth belt.
  • Seeking Caitlin - Three quests lead the Alliance from Caitlin Grassman in Menethil Harbor to Ardin Grassman in the dungeon. The final stage (Heartwoven) rewards the reusable 33 ilvl trinket Satchel of Potions.
  • Lost Relic Carry - Titan Relic that drops from Relic Guardian triggers this quest for the Alliance. The Horde carries the same shard to Bashana Runetotem in Thunder Bluff as part of Elder Knowledge.
  • Changing Tastes - Borstan in Orgrimmar asks the Horde to bring four pieces of raptor meat from the dungeon. Players can choose Satchel of Potions or the dagger Serrated Raptor Claw as a reward.
  • Dragonmaw Rumors - The Horde travels from Zaruk in Hammerfall to Deathstalker Agent above the Dragonmaw camp in the Wetlands. The follow-up quest Open the Maw rewards the player with bracers.

Blizzard has reduced the experience from mobs in World of Warcraft Forever dungeons. That's why the Alliance chains grant level 24-29 characters up to 39,300 experience points, along with rewards such as Heavehammer and Explorer's League Dustcover. The Horde receives up to 22,800 experience points for its quests. Our team completes all these objectives alongside your character. You won’t have to assemble a group for each chain.

Excavation Site Wetlands Loot and Blueprints

Ring of Power Regulation and Golemsight Long Gun drop from Relic Guardian. Both items have an ilvl of 33 and require level 28. The ring gives mana regeneration to casters and healers. Golemsight Long Gun with +6 Agility suits Hunters, Rogues, and Warriors. The loot priority in the order keeps the ring and the gun for your character.

Shadetooth gives Blueprint: Greenhouse to herbalists with Herbalism 140. The Greenhouse from this Blueprint grows herbs from seeds in camp and provides all the benefits of Incense Candle. Miners with Mining 140 need Blueprint: Rock Garden from Relic Guardian. The game binds the 31-33 ilvl gear and both Blueprints to the character upon acquisition. That's why we offer attempts until these items drop.

Wetlands Dungeon Bosses and Location

WoW Forever Excavation Site lies above Whelgar's Excavation at Thelgen Rock. The path to the Meeting Stone at the foot of the hill passes by a spider cave around 53.2, 65.8. Alliance players travel there from Menethil Harbor, and Horde players via Hammerfall. The group encounters Saltspine, Shadetooth, and the Alliance quest boss Highland Horror (who drops no loot) inside the dungeon. Your character earns Novice Spelunker credit for the final fight against Relic Guardian at the Titan Control Panel.
