How to Use Tome of Dalaran
Tome of Dalaran summons Lyn in the dungeon’s sewers. Players receive this book in the Silverpine Forest zone. The route to it passes through Shadowfang Keep and Ambermill in three steps:
- Progress through Shadowfang Keep to Arugal
- Black Tome from Arugal’s table
- Ambermill Leyline Focus in the Ambermill town hall
The book stays in the owner’s bag after each summon. It has a 3-minute cooldown. Our group brings its own copy of the tome to every run. The booster summons the boss at the purple circle in the dungeon’s sewers. You won’t have to spend time on Shadowfang Keep or the trip to Ambermill.
Lyn the Ignored Loot Table
Lyn’s loot list consists of three ilvl 33 items. Each requires level 28 to equip. The BoP (Bind on Pickup) restriction binds the item to the character who picked it up in the group. That's why you cannot purchase this loot from other players at the auction house. The three items suit different roles in the group:
- Tendonscraper Dagger - a main-hand dagger with up to +36 to spell damage and healing. It also gives casters and healers +5 Stamina and health regeneration.
- Bonepile Gaze - a tank gains 718 armor and +8 Block Value with this shield. The +5 Strength and +5 Stamina bonuses suit Protection Warriors and Paladins.
- Cartilage Shapers - we recommend these leather gloves to Druids and Rogues for their +9 Agility and +8 Spirit. The +4 Skinning bonus will be useful for characters with this profession.
The game does not guarantee that the desired item will drop from a single kill. That's why you choose the number of attempts on the service page. Our group kills the boss on each of them. This saves you from having to find other players with the tome for every trip into the Dalaran sewers.
Secret Boss of City of Dalaran
The secret boss adds a fight to the Dalaran dungeon for characters level 28 and above. Dalaran in Alterac Mountains is one of the nine new dungeons in World of Warcraft Forever. A group of five players faces regular bosses there, from Atrexis the Grave Knight in the sewers to Shade of the Archmage in the Purple Parlor. One Dalaran Sewer Key in the Keyring unlocks the entrance to the sewers for all five players. You don’t need your own key if another player in the group has one.
