Legends of Maraudon Quest
The dryad Cavindra gives the quest Legends of Maraudon in the caves near the dungeon entrance. She asks you to retrieve two pieces of her brother Celebras' scepter. Both pieces are inside Maraudon: one behind the orange crystals with Noxxion and the other behind the purple crystals with Lord Vyletongue. This allows you to complete both quest objectives in a single run through the dungeon.
The spirit of Celebras the Redeemed appears after the victory over Celebras the Cursed. His ritual combines Celebrian Rod and Celebrian Diamond into a single item. The reward for this quest chain is available in the Forever database under the same ID 17191 as in Classic.
Scepter of Celebras Portal to Inner Maraudon
The scepter opens a portal to Earth Song Falls via its Use effect. This effect applies to the entire group with a 30-second cooldown. The item has an Item Level of 1 and carries the Binds when picked up and Unique tags. That's why the scepter remains on the character after the quest chain. The owner receives four benefits for themselves and their group:
- A short Princess run without the outer wings
- Fast access to Princess Theradras
- One portal for the entire group
- Reusable effect without reagents
A group without the scepter must go through one of the outer wings. Our booster clears both wings once on your character. You don't need to gather a group for a full clear before every run to Princess Theradras. We consider this item a must for frequent Princess runs at levels 46-55.
Princess Maraudon Runs in Forever
Maraudon in World of Warcraft Forever is a dungeon for levels 46-55. It features eight bosses and a rare mob. The final boss is the elite level 51 Princess Theradras, just like in Classic. Players call a short trip to her in the inner part of the dungeon a Princess run. The group doesn't waste time on the two outer wings.
Blizzard has reduced the experience for kills in Forever dungeons. Players earn experience for leveling up in the open world. That's why groups go on Princess runs for the final boss's loot and the quests to defeat her at Earth Song Falls. The scepter's portal shortens each such run to the inner part of the dungeon.
