WoW Forever Scarlet Monastery: How It Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the desired SM wings and extras. Quick checkout opens the order form on the service page and requests character details for the run. ChaosBoost operators will help you choose the wings and options.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection. You can cover up to 100% of the order price with your ChaosBoost balance. Your account receives a personal 10% discount code after registration, which you enter in the promo code field and confirm by clicking Apply.
  3. Booking

The operator receives your order upon payment. They begin the booking process within 5 minutes in most cases and assemble a team for your wings. You choose the run start time together with the operator.
  4. Service Execution

The leader will send you a group invitation before the run begins. You can participate in fights on their command. Our team's Rank 1 boosters will guide your character to the final boss of each wing in the order.
  5. Order Completion

You check the results of each run together with the operator. The operator will verify each boss, key, and extra from the order with you before they close it. You can leave a review of the service on the ChaosBoost website.

We close the order once the boosters have completed all its requirements. You'll receive a free re-run from our team on the same character if any boss, key, or extra is missing after the run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where Is Scarlet Monastery?

WoW Forever Scarlet Monastery stands in the northeastern corner of Tirisfal Glades. You'll find portals to all four wings inside the main building. Alliance players take longer to reach SM than Horde players. Their route from Hillsbrad Foothills or Alterac Mountains goes through Silverpine Forest.

How to Get Scarlet Monastery Key?

The key lies in Doan's Strongbox behind Arcanist Doan. This key unlocks the doors to the Armory and the Cathedral for your character. Select the key option on the service page. Our team will then guide you through the Library to Doan.

How Long Does It Take to Clear Scarlet Monastery?

Clear time depends on the number of wings in the order. A run through a single wing is shorter than a full clear of all four wings. We consider the Cathedral (with its final fight against Mograine and Whitemane) to be the longest wing. Blizzard has also increased the floor area there.

What Do You Need From Me?

We need your character's region, ruleset, and faction. Forever maintains a single shared world in each region for every ruleset (from Normal to Hardcore) instead of separate realms. Characters cannot transfer between these worlds or factions. That's why every WoW Forever boost on ChaosBoost takes these three parameters into account.

Will I Get Experience From the Run?

Scarlet Monastery quests are the main source of experience for your character during the run. Blizzard has reduced the experience from mobs in Forever dungeons. The group receives no experience from mobs at all when one of its members is many levels higher than them. We recommend picking up the wing quests before the run starts.

Scarlet Monastery Wings and Levels

World of Warcraft Forever has preserved all four SM wings in Tirisfal Glades. Each one is its own instance with its own level range, its own mobs, and its own final boss at the end of the route. This allows you to choose a wing that matches your character's level.

WingLevelsFinal Boss
Graveyard30-38Bloodmage Thalnos
Library33-41Arcanist Doan
Armory36-44Herod
Cathedral38-46High Inquisitor Whitemane

Blizzard has limited party sizes in each wing to five players. Classic allowed raids of up to ten players there.

You need all four SM final bosses for the Experienced Spelunker Legacy challenge. This challenge requires clearing ten dungeons and awards one Legacy point to your Battle.net account. Running all four wings completes this portion of the Experienced Spelunker challenge in a single order. You won't have to run them with different groups.

Scarlet Monastery Quests and Scarlet Key

Most SM quests lead players to the Library. Mages go there for the Rituals of Power quest from the class questline, which ends with a wand. This same wing contains the quest books for both factions. Running through the Library allows you to collect them all in a single visit.

The new Alliance quest Past Due sends players to Arcanist Doan to retrieve a book. This mage hasn't returned the book to the Dalaran library since the time of the Third War. Each player in your group takes a key to the Armory and Cathedral doors from Doan's Strongbox behind him at the end of the Library. Lockpicking 175 also opens these doors without a key. You don't need a rogue with that skill in your group if you have the key.

Scarlet Monastery Loot From Herod and Whitemane

Herod and Whitemane drop the main BoP loot in all of SM. The game binds such an item to the character who looted it from the boss. That's why a booster cannot transfer it to you. Players book runs to attempt to get this loot:

  • Ravager - Herod's two-handed axe. Its new proc deals area-of-effect damage every 3 seconds and reduces your speed by 80%.
  • Hand of Righteousness - a main-hand mace that Whitemane drops.
  • Whitemane's Chapeau - another item from this boss. Blizzard has reworked this helmet for healers.
  • Chain of the Scarlet Crusade - a six-piece mail set with bonuses against undead. All set pieces are now Rare quality.
  • Raging Berserker's Helm - this mail helmet covers the head slot. The Chain of the Scarlet Crusade set does not have one.

Each kill of Herod or Whitemane gives you one chance at their loot. Scarlet Monastery boost with multiple runs on Herod provides more attempts at Ravager and Raging Berserker's Helm. You won't have to look for a group every time. We recommend doing a single-boss run if you've completed the quests in that wing.
