How Stratholme Key to the City Boosting Works

What Does Stratholme Key to the City Unlock?

The key unlocks the Eastwall Gate (the side gate to the Undead side of Stratholme). It also opens the passage between King's Square and Festival Lane. This passage connects the western and eastern districts of the city. A group without the key will not be able to enter The Gauntlet on the way to Baron.

What Level Do You Need for Stratholme Key to the City?

Your character must be level 58-60 for this order. Blizzard has designed the Undead side of Stratholme for this level range with seven bosses and a rare mob. The Dead Man's Plea quest from Anthion Harmon also has a minimum level requirement of 58. That's why your character will be able to accept this quest and go on a 45-minute Baron run.

How Long Does Stratholme Key to the City Take?

A run to Barthilas takes less time than a full clear of Stratholme. This clear takes a group 55-80 minutes. We finish this run by killing Barthilas. This saves you time on the three ziggurats, Ramstein the Gorger, and Baron.

Why Do You Need My Ruleset and Faction?

Magistrate Barthilas Drop Location

The key drops from Barthilas at Alonsus Chapel at the start of the Undead side. A group without the key on its first run reaches this boss through the main gates of Stratholme and part of the Live side. But a group of five players needs one holder on subsequent runs. The holder opens the side gate for each group member.

Blizzard has preserved this item in World of Warcraft Forever under the classic ID 12382. Its tooltip lists Uncommon quality, item level 1, and a Unique tag. The game binds it to the owner upon looting. Its owner cannot transfer it to an alt or another player via mail, trade, or the auction house. That's why our booster will loot the key on the character you specified in your order.

Stratholme Service Entrance Shortcut

Stratholme's side entrance is the Eastwall Gate east of the city's main gates. The route from this gate goes along The Gauntlet through three Scourge ziggurats and Slaughter Square to the Slaughterhouse at the other end of the Undead side. Baron Rivendare waits for players there as the final boss. The key holder leads the group to him in a 45-minute run. This saves you from having to clear the Live side on every attempt.

Baron Rivendare Runs With the Key

The Dead Man's Plea quest from Anthion Harmon gives the group 45 minutes to rescue his wife Ysida from Baron's captivity in the Slaughterhouse. Its reward is Ysida's Satchel from Ysida Harmon herself. But Blizzard has removed Argent Dawn reputation from this quest.

The holder starts the quest timer at the gates of The Gauntlet. An experienced group spends 29 of the 45 minutes on the Baron run. Our team obtains the key for your character during the run to Barthilas. You won't have to search for a holder in chat before every attempt at Dead Man's Plea. We recommend placing this order for a character who organizes Baron runs for the guild.
