Tier 0 Set Pieces and Drop Sources
Tier 0 in World of Warcraft Forever is an eight-piece set for each of the nine classes. Players collect this set in three Eastern Kingdoms dungeons. Three bosses there drop the same slot for all classes. The remaining items drop from separate bosses in these dungeons or from elite mobs along the way to them. Each set slot has its own source.
| Slot | Source |
|---|---|
| Head | Darkmaster Gandling (Scholomance) |
| Shoulder | various class-specific bosses |
| Chest | General Drakkisath (UBRS) |
| Wrist | dungeon mobs |
| Hands | bosses or mobs |
| Waist | dungeon mobs |
| Legs | Baron Rivendare (Stratholme) |
| Feet | various class-specific bosses |
Each of these three bosses drops an item from one of the nine sets. A player can run Scholomance several times in a row until Darkmaster Gandling drops a helm for their class. Most Tier 0 items bind to the character on pickup (BoP). That’s why our team farms them on your character. You won’t have to spend your evenings on repeated kills of the same boss.
WoW Forever Tier 0 Bonus Changes
Blizzard has moved the All Resistances bonus from eight pieces to two. The remaining Tier 0 bonuses now receive new thresholds up to six pieces. That’s why players should equip items with the best stats from raids, crafting, or quests in their two free slots. So you retain all bonuses without sacrificing stats. We tested the bonus pattern against the Devout Crown and Shadowcraft Tunic tooltips:
- Two pieces - the bonus gives +8 to all resistances.
- Three pieces - physical classes gain +30 attack power. The bonus gives casters +18 to spell damage and healing at this threshold.
- Four pieces - this threshold unlocks the class-specific proc.
- Five pieces - the proc for most sets restores mana, energy, or rage.
- Six pieces - the character restores mana or health every 5 seconds.
The Priest set illustrates this pattern with specific numbers. Its class-specific proc has a 2% chance to grant the wearer a shield that absorbs 488 damage when an enemy hits them in a fight. The resource proc restores 200 mana with a 5% chance per spell cast. This allows the Priest to sustain their mana longer in fights. The Warrior receives +15 Strength on three pieces instead of attack power.
Dungeon Set 1 Classes and Armor Types
Each set’s armor type matches the armor its class wears. Blizzard has assigned nine sets to the classes, from cloth to plate:
- Battlegear of Valor - Warrior, plate
- Lightforge Armor - Paladin, plate
- Beaststalker Armor - Hunter, mail
- The Elements - Shaman, mail
- Shadowcraft Armor - Rogue, leather
- Wildheart Raiment - Druid, leather
- Vestments of the Devout - Priest, cloth
- Magister's Regalia - Mage, cloth
- Dreadmist Raiment - Warlock, cloth
Both factions have Shamans and Paladins in Forever. That’s why both the Alliance and the Horde farm The Elements and Lightforge Armor. This allows you to play a Shaman or Paladin on either side. We consider Wildheart Raiment to be the most versatile set because it gives the Druid both attack power and bonuses to spell damage and healing at three pieces.
