Zul'Farrak Quests in WoW Forever
Zul'Farrak quests grant your character more experience than the same ones in Classic. Blizzard has reduced the XP from mobs in World of Warcraft Forever dungeons. This allows your character to gain experience in a single run with quests instead of a mob grind in the dungeon.
Some of them require the pyramid event. Sergeant Bly from the group of captives holds the rod for the Divino-matic Rod quest. The party frees these captives from their cages at the top of the pyramid at the start of the event. This same event leads to the final boss Chief Ukorz Sandscalp in every run. You won't have to enter the dungeon a second time just for the Divino-matic Rod.
Gahz'rilla and Mallet of Zul'Farrak
Gahz'rilla comes out of the sacred pool in the troll city after someone hits the gong by the water. A player with Mallet of Zul'Farrak in their bag strikes this gong. The Sacred Mallet from Qiaga the Keeper becomes this mallet at the altar atop Jintha'Alor in The Hinterlands on another continent. We consider this journey the main reason why random groups skip the hydra. But the Mallet remains in the bag and serves that player in every subsequent run.
The hydra drops Gahz'rilla's Electrified Scale for the Gahz'rilla quest. Each party member with this quest receives their own scale. Wizzle Brassbolts in Shimmering Flats exchanges it for the Carrot on a Stick trinket. This trinket increases mount speed by 3%. That's why Carrot on a Stick will come in handy for your character right from the first mount they purchase along with the Riding skill at level 40 for 100 g.
Zul'Farrak Loot and Bosses
Zul'Farrak in Tanaris features six main bosses and three rare mobs. The game binds their loot to the player upon pickup (BoP). That's why your level 44–54 character will receive it based on loot priority in the group with our team on each of the six bosses. You won't have to give up BoP items to other participants.
Every WoW Forever Zul'Farrak run gives your character a new attempt at the two-handed sword Sul'thraze the Lasher. Players assemble this sword from Sang'thraze the Deflector and Jang'thraze the Protector. Three or five runs in a single order give more of these attempts. Defeating the final boss Chief Ukorz Sandscalp also completes the entry for this dungeon in the Master Spelunker achievement. This saves you from having to return here just for Master Spelunker.
