WoW Forever Undead Paladin Guide
WoW Forever Undead Paladin is the Horde's first paladin in the vanilla-based version of the game and a new class for the Undead. The faction has no other paladins because there are no blood elves in WoW Forever. Your path to level 60 begins with character creation and lessons from trainers in Tirisfal Glades, proceeds through leveling milestones and 30 class quests, and leads to the two-handed sword Wolfsbane at 26. From there, the class draws on undead racials and Blizzard's adjustments, chooses Ret, Prot, or Holy talents, and receives mounts at 40 and 60 along with gear up to Tier 0 and Tier 0.5.
How to Make an Undead Paladin
The Undead Paladin is created as a Horde character and begins their journey in Deathknell (Tirisfal Glades). Your WoW Forever Horde Paladin receives their class quests there starting at level 1. The first quest is A Difficult Path, where Shadow Priest Sarvis sends the new player to the church to speak with Aramis Hammerhand.
The ruleset for a WoW Forever Undead Paladin is chosen in advance, because groups and dungeons are formed within the ruleset. A PvP ruleset also determines the faction, since once a Horde character is created, the account cannot create Alliance characters there. You choose the same ruleset and faction when ordering the WoW Forever Character Leveling Boost 1–60, where our team levels up any combination of race and class, including the Undead Paladin. I recommend choosing the ruleset together with your friends.
WoW Forever Undead Classes
Undead characters in Forever can choose from six classes. Among the WoW Forever undead classes, Mages, Priests, and Warlocks wield magic. Rogues, Warriors, and Paladins (new to the race) engage in melee combat. Undead Druids, Hunters, and Shamans are not available. The Undead Priest has also changed; their Dark Sacrifice converts health into mana, similar to the Warlock's Life Tap.
Which Horde Races Can Be Paladins?
Undead can be Paladins on the Horde side because there are no blood elves in Forever. Among the six new WoW Forever race class combinations, the Alliance received the Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, and Gnome Priest. From this set, the Horde got the Orc Mage, Troll Warlock, and Undead Paladin. For the Alliance, a WoW Forever paladin can be Human or Dwarf. This class is unavailable to Orcs, Tauren, and Trolls. Skyborne also do not choose it in either faction, so the Horde Paladin remains exclusive to the Undead.
Undead Paladin Milestones by Level
The Undead Paladin receives Holy Strike at level 6 and Redemption at 12. Its basic spell set is acquired by 20. The class mount is unlocked at 40, and the epic mount at 60. Remaining milestones are tied to trainers, quests, and Legacy.
| Milestone | Level | Where to Obtain |
|---|---|---|
| Holy Strike | 6 | Class trainer |
| Hammer of Justice | 8 | Trainer |
| Talents, Seal of Fury, and Lay on Hands | 10 | Trainer |
| A Second Home (road to Bandarion Keep) | Level 11 quest, available from 8 | Shari Stilwell, Brill |
| Redemption | 12 | A Lesson in Divinity chain |
| Diplomatic Incident (start of the Wolfsbane chain) | from 18 | Danitha Morr |
| Consecration, Blessing of Kings, Exorcism, and Flash of Light | 20 | Trainer |
| Wolfsbane | Level 26 quest, available from 20 | Old Fire-Eye |
| Class Legacy Challenges | 25, 45, and 60 | Legacy system |
| Summon Warhorse, Apprentice Riding, plate, and Dual Specialization | 40 | Class trainer |
| Summon Forsaken Charger | 60 | Epic class quest |
After completing the Wolfsbane questline at 26, I'd fill the gap until Summon Warhorse at 40 by leveling through the zones, since there are no class quests there.
Horde Paladin Trainer Locations
The role of the WoW Forever paladin trainer for the Horde is filled by four new NPCs in Tirisfal Glades and Undercity. You'll encounter three of them during the chain, and the fourth in the capital.
| Trainer | Location | Coordinates | What They Give |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aramis Hammerhand | Deathknell | 31.1, 66.4 | first spells and class quests |
| Shari Stilwell | Brill | 60.3, 52.6 | spells and the quest A Second Home |
| Hilda the Breaker | Bandarion Keep | 22.0, 47.2 | spells at the class hub |
| Garen Largo | War Quarter, Undercity | 47.4, 14.9 | spells and talent reset |
Since there are no paladin trainers in Orgrimmar or Thunder Bluff, in the capital cities you learn from Garen Largo.
WoW Forever Undead Paladin Quests
The WoW Forever Undead Paladin walkthrough covers 30 class quests from levels 1 to 26. Its first part takes you through Tirisfal Glades and Undercity up to 12 and rewards you with Redemption. At 18, the second part opens in Silverpine Forest, leading through Hillsbrad Foothills, three dungeons, and Ashenvale to the sword Wolfsbane.
Forsaken Paladin Lore
On September 13, in the Found Photos panel, Blizzard linked the Forsaken paladins' journey to the new Warcraft III campaign Forsaken Kingdom. The other Forsaken have a deep distrust of these former paladins. Bandarion Keep in Whispering Wood became a key location in the story, where the World of Warcraft Forever Undead Paladin receives their class hub.
Garek Bandarion (once a guard of Lordaeron) became captain of the Undercity Deathguards and one of the first Forsaken paladins. Before him, Sir Zeliek in Naxxramas had shown that the undead can wield the Light. The fortress was known as Dawn's Watch under the Argent Dawn, and it took the name Garek Bandarion after the order departed. Its leader (Danitha Morr) refused to join the Argent Dawn, as she still considered the Forsaken to be the people the paladins had sworn to protect.
Deathknell and Brill Quests
After A Difficult Path, the chain takes you through Deathknell and on to Brill:
- Rediscovering the Light - you heal five Injured Deathguards with Holy Light at the Deathknell chapel.
- Coming to Terms - on the hills west of the chapel, your character searches for Frightened Paladin.
- Continue Your Training - the quest takes the new player to Shari Stilwell in Brill.
- A Second Home (level 11 quest, available from 8) - Shari Stilwell sends the character to Breton Samuels at the entrance to the keep for 220 XP.
I recommend heading to the keep closer to level 12, when the next part of the chain becomes available there.
Bandarion Keep Class Hub
Bandarion Keep in western Tirisfal Glades (Whispering Wood) serves as the class hub for Undead Paladins. The keep features stables, an anvil with a forge, and trainer Hilda the Breaker. You'll find the hub's leader (Danitha Morr) upstairs in the command room, and Breton Samuels at the entrance. Nearby, you'll also meet supply vendor Jorin Croge, blacksmith Angus Hammerhand, and sentry Ander Solliden. You can't bind your Hearthstone here because there are no inns, mailboxes, or banks, nor are there any auction houses or profession trainers.
At level 11, the hub offers three quests:
- Murlocs at the Gates - by the lake west of the walls, you kill eight Vile Fin Attackers and eight Vile Fin Seers for either Skullthumper or Driftwood Smasher, your choice.
- Touring the Grounds - talking to four fortress residents introduces the newbie to the hub.
- Making Repairs - Jorin Croge exchanges 12 Sturdy Lumber from Shadowvale for Salvaged Wooden Tower Shield.
I'd take Making Repairs along with The Tarnished, since both quests lead to Shadowvale.
The Tarnished Quest in Shadowvale
The Tarnished (a level 12 quest, available from 9) leads to Shadowvale and goes hand in hand with A Token of Good Faith:
- In Shadowvale (southwest of the fortress), your character kills eight Tarnished Drudges and six Tarnished Zealots.
- From the top floor of the house there, you take Rudolph Gelhardt's head.
- You carry the head to Lady Sylvanas Windrunner in the Royal Quarter of Undercity (58.0, 91.8) via the Ruins of Lordaeron and the elevator behind the throne room.
From there, the character returns to Danitha Morr to pick up the Redemption chain.
Undead Paladin Redemption Quest
The Undead Paladin gets Redemption at level 12 upon completing the seven-part A Lesson in Divinity questline. This questline is given by Danitha Morr (22.0, 44.6). Tanis Alderwood in the Trade Quarter of Undercity first asks for ten Linen Cloth. Then Danitha gives you the Symbol of Life, which you use to resurrect Deathguard Falgan in Venomweb Vale in the eastern part of the zone. There, you also take the Scarlet Crusade Attack Plans from the order's camp and return to Danitha.
A Lesson in Divinity concludes the first part of the WoW Forever Undead Paladin quests, which takes the character through all of Tirisfal and leads them to Undercity twice. I agree with Icy Veins that Redemption is necessary before group dungeons, since the group expects resurrections from the paladin.
WoW Forever Paladin Weapon Quest
The Horde's class weapon quest yields the two-handed sword Wolfsbane, which serves as the Horde's response to the Alliance's Verigan's Fist. This 13-quest chain begins with Diplomatic Incident from Danitha Morr and ends with Old Fire-Eye from Lumina Windsinger. You can accept it at 18, though A Moon-Kissed Blade won't unlock until 20.
The route leads from Silverpine Forest through Fenris Isle to Hillsbrad Foothills and Ashenvale, and includes three dungeons (The Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep, and Blackfathom Deeps). There are two elite quests in the chain (Seeking the Kor Gem and Old Fire-Eye). The final one grants +150 reputation with Undercity and the Earthen Ring, and +75 reputation with Orgrimmar.
Diplomatic Incident and The Debt
Diplomatic Incident (a level 22 quest, available from 18) from Danitha Morr unlocks six quests leading up to The Windshaper's Wrath, including Into Fenris Keep and Lumina Windsinger. On Fenris Isle, you search for missing Earthen Ring travelers and rescue Lumina Windsinger from Fenris Keep, then meet her again in The Sepulcher. The Debt (a level 24 quest) sets the stage for the future blade. A Moon-Kissed Blade (which follows) sends you to gather materials for the weapon. Next come the quests from weaponsmith Ott in Hillsbrad Foothills (An Underrated Talent and Ott's Masterwork) and The Moonsilver Blade.
A Moon-Kissed Blade Materials
A Moon-Kissed Blade (a level 25 dungeon quest, available from 20) is given by Lumina Windsinger. You turn it in to Trevan Rol in Silverpine Forest (43.4, 41.0) along with Trevan's Weapon Notes and three materials:
- Whitestone Oak Lumber - this lumber drops from Goblin Woodcarvers in The Deadmines (Westfall, Alliance territory).
- Enchanted Silver Ingot - you obtain this ingot in Shadowfang Keep without leaving Silverpine Forest.
- Purified Kor Gem - you can get this gem by completing the elite quest Seeking the Kor Gem from Ulric Frostveil in Ashenvale (+75 Undercity reputation). The Corrupted Kor Gem required for this quest drops from nagas in Blackfathom Deeps.
The blade blank (Ott's Masterwork) is forged by weaponsmith Ott in Hillsbrad Foothills. In The Moonsilver Blade, Trevan Rol exchanges it for the Moonsilver Blade.
How to Beat Old Fire-Eye
Old Fire-Eye (a level 26 elite quest, available from 20) is given by Lumina Windsinger in The Sepulcher. The target is a level 25 elite worgen at Greymane Wall (49.4, 86.8) in the southern part of Silverpine Forest. You'll need to bring the Moonsilver Blade to the fight, because without the blade, this worgen's Unnatural Resilience will reduce your damage by 99%. Since Icy Veins rates this chain as difficult up to level 22, I'd recommend tackling this elite quest in a group. Lumina Windsinger transforms the Moonsilver Blade into Wolfsbane after the fight.
Wolfsbane vs Verigan's Fist
Wolfsbane and Verigan's Fist share an ilvl of 31 and 25.6 DPS, although the stats on these class-specific two-handed weapons differ.
| Weapon | Type | Damage and Speed | Stats | Procs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wolfsbane | Rare, two-handed sword | 69–105, 3.40 | +9 Stamina, +10 Intellect | 39–59 Holystorm damage, tripled against wolves and worgen |
| Moonsilver Blade | Uncommon, two-handed sword | 57–86, 3.40 | +7 Stamina, +7 Intellect | Deals damage to enchanted targets |
| Verigan's Fist (Alliance) | Rare, two-handed mace | 65–99, 3.20 | +5 Stamina, +10 Spirit, +6 Intellect | 39–59 Holyfire damage, tripled against Fire and Earth Elementals |
The Horde reward from the WoW Forever paladin weapon quest has higher Stamina and Intellect. Blizzard's October 1 update gave Verigan's Fist a proc and new stats. Both two-handed weapons are Bind on Pickup (BoP). I'd recommend taking the two-handed sword lesson from Archibald in Undercity in advance, since the skill starts at 1.
WoW Forever Undead Racials
Of the two active and two passive Undead racial abilities, Touch of the Grave and the mana from Cannibalize are the most important for a paladin. Each of the four racials has its own role:
- Will of the Forsaken - removes Charm, Fear, and Sleep and has a 2-minute cooldown, just like Cannibalize. There is no immunity to these effects after removal.
- Cannibalize - for 10 seconds, this ability restores health and mana from a Humanoid or Undead corpse within 5 yards. Every 2 seconds, it returns 7% of both until interrupted by movement, an action, or damage.
- Underwater Breathing - this passive ability extends breath duration underwater by 300%.
- Touch of the Grave - attacks and spells that deal damage have a 20% chance to drain health from the target (up to 5% of the character's maximum health). The internal cooldown for this new passive is 15 seconds.
In the October 27 patch, Blizzard reduced this cooldown from the previous 25 seconds. Undead no longer have Shadow Resistance because Blizzard removed racial resistances. Warcraft Tavern considers Touch of the Grave a strong racial ability for tanks, and the mana from Cannibalize a safeguard against downtime. In my opinion, this assessment is accurate, since WoW Forever undead racials give both healing in fights and mana between fights. The rest of that week's changes are summarized in the analysis of the October 26–27 racial updates.
WoW Forever Paladin Changes
Blizzard has revamped the class's basic set so that you'll notice the main changes by level 20. Six changes are most important for leveling:
- Holy Strike at level 6 deals an instant weapon strike with Holy damage and a 10-second cooldown.
- Seal of Fury becomes available at 10 and adds Holy damage to every attack; when holding a shield, it also applies a shield that absorbs 50% of that damage. Under this seal, Judgement taunts a target within 10 yards.
- Judgement no longer spends a Seal, which remains on the character after the attack.
- Consecration is available at 20 for all specializations and deals full damage to the first four enemies.
- Blessing of Kings becomes the basic blessing at 20. All three blessings (Might, Wisdom, and Kings) now last one hour.
- Lay on Hands has a cooldown of 20 minutes instead of one hour.
Three other changes concern talents, auras, and defense:
- Unsealed Wrath - Seal twisting is now part of this Retribution talent at 31 points.
- Resistance Auras - auras affect all raid members within 30 yards.
- Divine Shield - the shield reduces your damage by 50% instead of slowing attacks.
I consider Judgement (which doesn't consume a Seal) to be the main change for leveling.
Paladin Strengths and Weaknesses
The WoW Forever paladin changes didn't give the class any interrupts or slows. Blizzard cites fights against Undead and Demons as a strength, with Exorcism and Holy Wrath (which stuns them for 2 seconds) working against these enemies. Turn Undead also frightens the undead.
WoW Forever Paladin Talents
Talents become available starting at level 10, granting one point per level. By 60, a character will have accumulated 51 points. The WoW Forever Undead Paladin talent tree is identical to those of Humans and Dwarves, since the race does not alter the Holy, Protection, and Retribution trees. One-point "golden" talents are available at 11 points and in a new row at 16. At 21 and 31 points, these rows give each tree a key talent.
| Tree | 21 points | 31 points |
|---|---|---|
| Holy | Holy Shock | Light's Vigil |
| Protection | Holy Shield | Shieldsworn |
| Retribution | Repentance | Unsealed Wrath (former Twist of Light) |
The Legacy perk Talented unlocks talent points up to five levels earlier, though the cap is still 51. With the October 30 patch, Blizzard once again revamped the Paladin and Druid talent trees. I trust talent priorities more than pre-made builds, which this patch might have broken.
Retribution Leveling Build
For solo quests, the WoW Forever Undead Paladin build is based on Retribution and a slow two-handed weapon. Most WoW Forever leveling builds also start with this tree. I recommend Retribution for solo leveling, since Seal of Command and Holy Strike are stronger with a slow two-handed weapon like Wolfsbane (speed 3.40). The final talent distribution is 12/8/31, though there's another starting option via Holy at 10–30. This build is assembled in five steps:
- The first talent points go into Benediction (-10% cost on instant spells) and Pursuit of Justice (+15% movement speed, including while mounted).
- Seal of Command shines by 20 with a slow two-handed weapon.
- At 25, the build takes Sacred Arbiter (a "golden" talent at 16 points). It boosts Holy Strike by 20% and allows this strike to refresh the effects of Judgement.
- Level 30 brings Repentance to the build.
- Up to 40, the character picks up Sanctified Judgement, Vengeance, and Champion of the Light (converting Intellect into spell damage) and unlocks Unsealed Wrath.
In this setup, Holy gives Divine Strength and Improved Seals, while Protection gives Divine Intellect and Precision.
Retribution Leveling Rotation
The Retribution leveling rotation relies on cooldowns because Judgement no longer consumes a Seal.
| Ability | When to Use |
|---|---|
| Seal of Righteousness | before Seal of Command |
| Holy Strike and Judgement | on cooldown |
| Consecration | against two or more enemies |
| Exorcism | Undead and Demons |
| Hammer of Wrath | target at 20% health (from 44) |
| Hammer of Justice | dangerous casts |
Judgement with Seal of Command deals double damage to a target under the effect of Hammer of Justice. Repentance removes a Humanoid from combat for up to 6 seconds. Keep such a target outside of Consecration, because any damage breaks this effect. I don't change the Seal under Unsealed Wrath in short fights, since each seal change costs extra mana.
Protection Paladin for Dungeons
For dungeons, choose Protection with a one-handed weapon and a shield, where Seal of Fury and Righteous Fury become available at level 10. Five tools assist a tank with this spec:
- Swift Judgement - this talent gives a second taunt in addition to Judgement under Seal of Fury.
- Templar's Bulwark - this ability grants the tank a shield equal to 100% of their health for 8 seconds and Forbearance for one minute.
- Shield Specialization - shield blocks restore 4% mana once every 3 seconds.
- Holy Shield - the 0/33/18 build takes this 21-point talent by level 40.
- Shieldsworn - at 31 points, Holy Strike begins to strike with the shield.
Exorcism pulls Undead and Demons from a distance. With Seal of Fury, I use a fast one-handed weapon, since the seal adds Holy damage to every strike.
Holy and Shockadin Builds
The Holy build centers around Holy Shock at 21 points and Light's Vigil at 31. Light's Vigil places a mark on an ally (one per group); after that, the next Holy Shock cast on that ally heals the entire group without a cooldown. The new Oath of Light amplifies the healing of a single ally, such as a tank. Warcraft Tavern does not recommend leveling as a healer. But the Shockadin build (Holy Shock, Consecration, and Holy Strike scaled by spell power) gives high damage for a healer.
Where to Respec Paladin Talents
Blizzard allows you to change WoW Forever paladin talents along with Legacy talents at the class trainer in the capital city. For the Undead, this is Garen Largo in the War Quarter of Undercity, where each subsequent reset costs more than the last. He unlocks the second specialization at level 40, after which you can switch specs for free.
WoW Forever Undead Paladin Mount
The Undead Paladin has two class-specific mounts: Summon Warhorse (Forsaken variant) at level 40 and Summon Forsaken Charger at 60. Your World of Warcraft Forever Undead Paladin mount at level 40 comes along with Apprentice Riding from the class trainer. Summon Warhorse is cast from the spellbook in 3 seconds for 100 mana, out of combat and outdoors.
Other Undead classes learn Riding from Velma Warnam and purchase a horse from Zachariah Post in Brill. Paladins do not need these NPCs. Alt characters of other classes pursuing this path will find ways to earn gold for Riding useful.
Forsaken Charger Epic Mount Quest
At 60, Forsaken Paladins complete their epic mount quest. Blizzard states that the Alliance gets a Charger in the name of Redemption, while the Forsaken get one in the name of Retribution. The reward is the Holy-school spell Summon Forsaken Charger, with a 3-second cast time and a cost of 150 mana. Its restrictions are the same as those of Summon Warhorse.
The Forsaken Charger serves as an epic WoW Forever Undead Paladin mount, which the character receives upon completing the class questline. I consider this quest the main goal of the final levels, as it is the first class questline after Wolfsbane.
Undead Paladin Gear and Weapons
Paladins wear mail up to level 40 and plate starting at 40. Up to level 30, a WoW Forever Paladin cannot find mail with spell power in quests or dungeons. There are three sources for mail while leveling:
- Acolyte's Silvered Chain - a helmet, tunic, and greaves from Blacksmithing that provide Intellect, spell damage, and healing. The player who crafted these BoP pieces is the one who can wear them.
- Shining Silver Breastplate - a BoE breastplate for Retribution (ilvl 29), also from Blacksmithing. It gives +14 Strength and +6 Stamina.
- Chain of the Scarlet Crusade - at two pieces, this set from the Scarlet Monastery gives +10 Shadow Resistance. The three- and four-piece set bonuses work against undead.
As Retribution, you'll use a slow two-handed weapon; as Protection, you'll use a fast one-handed weapon and a shield. Horde two-handed weapons on the path to 40 range from Tirisfal Glades to the Scarlet Monastery.
| Two-Handed Weapon | Level | Quest or Boss | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Riptear's Cleaver | 13 | Rear Guard Patrol | Tirisfal Glades |
| Forsaken Greataxe | 22 | The Wrath of Rath'mael | Ruins of Lordaeron |
| Moonsilver Blade | 25 | The Moonsilver Blade | Silverpine Forest |
| Wolfsbane | 26 | Old Fire-Eye | Silverpine Forest |
| Corpsemaker | 29 | Overlord Ramtusk | Razorfen Kraul |
| Ravager | 37 | Herod | Scarlet Monastery |
To obtain the Forsaken Greataxe, head to the Ruins of Lordaeron, where other Ruins of Lordaeron quests wait.
Lightforge and Soulforge Sets
Lightforge Armor (Tier 0) consists of eight plate pieces with ilvl 57–63 and level requirements of 52–58. The source and binding type vary by piece.
| Piece | Binding | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Helmet | BoP | Darkmaster Gandling, Scholomance |
| Chest | BoP | General Drakkisath, UBRS |
| Leggings | BoP | Baron Rivendare, Stratholme |
| Shoulders | BoP | bosses and trash |
| Boots | BoP | bosses and trash |
| Belt | BoE | bosses and trash |
| Bracers | BoE | bosses and trash |
| Gloves | BoE | bosses and trash |
Pieces without their own boss drop in the same dungeons. The set gives bonuses starting with two pieces, though there is no bonus for eight pieces in Forever. I recommend completing the five BoP pieces first, because the belt, bracers, and gloves can be obtained through trading.
The Soulforge Armor (Tier 0.5) chain (starting at level 58) grants one Legacy point and consists of four main steps:
- An Earnest Proposition from Mokvar in Orgrimmar starts the chain.
- Brazier of Beckoning summons its bosses.
- Lord Valthalak in Upper Blackrock Spire completes the series of summoned bosses.
- Saving the Best for Last gives you a helmet and chest piece.
Sets for other classes are described in the article on Tier 0 and Tier 0.5 sets for all classes.
Level Your Undead Paladin Faster
The WoW Forever Undead Paladin path to level 60 includes 30 class quests with the Wolfsbane sword, as well as class mounts. Blizzard does not sell paid level boosts in World of Warcraft Forever. The WoW Token is also not available in this version. Our team covers these steps with four services:
- WoW Forever Character Leveling Boost 1–60 - a quest route covering any range up to level 60, with Riding and Dual Specialization options at 40. The Standard option takes about 14 days, while the Express option takes about 7. Gold, items, and reputation are all kept by your character.
- Undead Paladin Questline Boost - a pilot clears any range of the 30 class quests and leaves the rewards on your character. For the section in Silverpine Forest, your character must be level 18.
- Wolfsbane Quest Boost - our team kills Old Fire-Eye alongside your level 20 character carrying the Moonsilver Blade, or a pilot clears the entire chain for you.
- Forsaken Charger Mount Boost - the epic chain for a level 60 Undead Paladin is cleared by a pilot using either our team's or your own reagents.
Class quests for other classes are collected in the WoW Forever Class Quests Boost category within the WoW Forever boosting services section. If something is missing from your order, our team will complete it for free.
WoW Forever Undead Paladin FAQ
Does the Light hurt undead paladins?
Holy Light causes undead characters severe pain in the Rediscovering the Light quest. Aramis Hammerhand calls this pain a sign that the character still serves the Light.
When could Horde first play paladins?
The Horde first received paladins in The Burning Crusade on January 16, 2007, alongside the blood elves. Since this race isn't available in WoW Forever, the Undead unlock the class for the Horde.
What weapons can paladins use in Forever?
The class can wield one-handed and two-handed swords, axes, and maces, and learns to use Polearms at level 20. Archibald in Undercity teaches swords and Polearms; Hanashi or Sayoc in Orgrimmar teach axes; and Ansekhwa in Thunder Bluff teaches Two-Handed Maces.
Which professions suit an Undead Paladin?
I recommend Blacksmithing and Mining, because this combination covers the crafting of mail, plate, and weapons. Blacksmithing also gives more spell power than other sources.
Is Undead Paladin good in PvP?
In PvP, the Undead Paladin excels with three abilities. Holy Strike deals Holy damage, which armor cannot reduce. Will of the Forsaken frees a character from Fear, Charm, and Sleep. Warcraft Tavern calls Hammer of Justice one of the strongest stuns in Forever.
Are undead paladins coming to retail WoW?
Forsaken, Night Elves, and Darkspear Trolls will become Paladins in retail with Patch 12.2 Eclipse for WoW Midnight in early 2027. Paul Kubit promises a special questline for the Forsaken detailing how they found the Light.
