WoW Forever Dungeons and Loot

WoW Forever dungeons and loot: a five-player party at a dungeon portal with rare blue drops

WoW Forever dungeons take your character from level 13 to the level cap of 60. Classic content from Ragefire Chasm to Scholomance is included alongside new instances and has itself changed, because Blizzard has retained recognizable items in WoW Forever dungeon loot, reworked weaker ones, and added hundreds of new ones. You'll need the levels and zones for all 35 dungeons, the best loot and sets to farm, as well as first-run quests that give most of the experience and rewards for your class and role. For locked doors, you'll collect keys and attunements and find a group using the LFG tool without automatic player matching.

WoW Forever Dungeons by Level

WoW Forever dungeons by level: level ranges from Ragefire Chasm 13–18 to The Shaper's Terrace 58–60

Forever includes 35 dungeons and wings for levels 13-60, nine of which Blizzard added to the classic ones. All 35 fit into 28 instances, since some of them are wings. The complete WoW Forever dungeon list is sorted by ascending level range:

WoW Forever dungeon levels in the table show the recommended level range that Blizzard published on October 20 for the nine new dungeons. The client unlocks the classic dungeons earlier, starting with Ragefire Chasm, Wailing Caverns, and The Deadmines at level 10. At level 15, the game lets you into Blackfathom Deeps and The Stockade, and at level 19, Gnomeregan. WoW Forever Dungeon Boost covers any row in the table because our team runs each of the 35 dungeons with your character in a group or as a pilot. I'd still wait until you reach the lower end of the range.

Difficulty and Instance Resets

Dungeons in Forever have a single difficulty level, since the Heroic and Mythic modes from the retail version aren't available in the game. WoW Forever dungeon levels set it together with your group's levels and gear. You can repeat a run in the same instance after a reset, which the leader initiates by right-clicking their portrait once all participants have come out of the instance. The game limits the number of resets to five per hour. I recommend keeping track of them while farming loot, because after the fifth reset, entry is closed until the end of the hour.

Spelunker Legacy Challenges

Forever dungeons give three Spelunker Legacy Challenges, each of which gives 1 Legacy Point and contributes to account-wide progress. The final boss of each dungeon on the list counts toward the challenge. These lists vary in length:

  • Novice - six entries, with Ragefire Chasm or Hall of Thanes at the top. Choosing between them doesn't affect the count, since both count as a single dungeon.
  • Experienced - ten entries, with each of the four wings of Scarlet Monastery having its own line. A single run through the monastery isn't enough here, because you need to clear all four wings to count.
  • Master - 17 entries, where Stratholme Live, Stratholme Undead, and each of the three wings of Dire Maul get their own spot. The longest list stretches from Uldaman to Dire Maul North.

The Stockade isn't included in any of the challenges. But the new Alcaz Prison, Blackmaw Hold, and The Shaper's Terrace count toward the Master Spelunker challenge. I'd complete it without extra runs, since most of its entries are dungeons you'd be visiting anyway for quests and loot.

WoW Forever New Dungeons

WoW Forever new dungeons: nine cards from Hall of Thanes 13–18 to The Shaper's Terrace 58–60

Forever has added nine dungeons for levels 13-60, six of which are located in the Eastern Kingdoms and three in Kalimdor. All nine have been available since the launch on November 4 and complement the classic content. The list begins with Hall of Thanes beneath Ironforge and ends with The Shaper's Terrace in Un'Goro Crater. I recommend running each one at least once, since the final bosses of these new instances give both loot and Spelunker challenge entries.

Where Is Hall of Thanes?

Hall of Thanes is hidden in Old Ironforge beneath The High Seat and is designed for 13-18. First, you'll face Faldrim Anvilmar and Magmatus. Next come Plunder and the final boss, Durgen Dirgehammer. The path to the old city begins at The Great Forge:

  1. Throne Room - first, head to King Magni Bronzebeard's hall.
  2. Corridor with Cobwebs - then turn left and go down the stairs.
  3. Crumbling Path - after the first flight of stairs, take the path down, because the path up leads to the NPC Afadra Dunwall. Falling from the crumbling path into the lava will kill your character.
  4. Bridge - NPC Thom Filch is standing by the bridge. The dungeon entrance is located at coordinates 43.5, 52.0.

The WoW Forever Hall of Thanes quests begin with Important Heirlooms from Thom Filch and The Restless Dead from Afadra Dunwall. Added to these are Old Ironforge Incursion, An Ancient Grudge, and The Treaty of Understanding. Old Ironforge Incursion is accepted in Dun Morogh from Earthseer Farsen and turned in to King Magni with Durgen Dirgehammer's head. The Treaty of Understanding tablet lies behind the door to the final hall's vault. For a level 13 Alliance character, all five yield 13,300 experience points (around a full level).

Ruins of Lordaeron and Dalaran

Ruins of Lordaeron (15-20) are located above Undercity in Tirisfal Glades, where you prevent a necromancer from collecting power in the ruins controlled by the Scourge. The Horde enters them from Undercity, while the Alliance travels through Horde territory. Your first boss is Witherfang, and the last is Rath'mael. The optional boss Viktor the Vile comes out after several waves of adds. Healers will be interested in Rotmender's Treads (part of the cloth set Rotmender's Raiment) from Rath'mael's loot.

City of Dalaran in the Alterac Mountains awaits characters at 28-33. The group earns the trust of the Kirin Tor and enters the city through the sewers. From the first boss (Atrexis the Grave Knight), the path leads to the final boss, Shade of the Archmage. I'd recommend completing the Dalaran Sewer Key attunement before assembling the group, since you can't access the sewers without the key.

Excavation Site in Wetlands

Blizzard designed Excavation Site for 24-29 and placed it above Whelgar's Excavation, next to Thelgen Rock and Dun Algaz. Inside, there's fog with flashes of light. In the fog, you'll be attacked by titan constructs and wild beasts. The chain of four bosses starts with Saltspine and ends with Relic Guardian, whose loot includes the Golemsight Long Gun (a gun, +6 Agility). For the sake of the 14 quests, I'd recommend doing your first run here with a full quest log.

Drowned City to Alcaz Prison

The Drowned City (35-40) is located on Gillijim's Isle (an island from the WoW alpha that didn't make it into the final release). Its entrance is in an underwater cave marked by a large sign off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale, west of Grom'gol, at coordinates 21.4, 27.9. Swim there past The Vile Reef through Sunken Hollow. The open-air ruins are guarded by trolls and naga, with the bosses Var'Taka and Captain Dreadrise. During the run, the fog and rain over the ruins escalate into a storm before the final fight.

Krol'dok Stronghold (40-45) is an ogre fortress with workshops and camps in the new Riverglades zone, where ogres kidnap travelers and singing can be heard at night. In early BlizzCon materials, the stronghold was listed as 40-55. Alcaz Prison (48-53) is located on Alcaz Island near Dustwallow Marsh, where the Defias Brotherhood is at war with the naga. Among the bosses in the prison (where, according to rumors, King Varian Wrynn is being held), Blazeroar is the known one. The portal inside is hidden in the basement of a large building on the island, at coordinates 75, 15.

Blackmaw Hold and Shaper's Terrace

Blackmaw Hold (55-60) is located in northern Azshara at the site of an unused entrance to Timbermaw Hold. This instance is larger than Blackrock Depths in area and features a vertical, non-linear layout. Here, you'll face corrupted furbolgs and demons. A full clear takes one long session, though some quests may require a second visit. I recommend learning your way around Blackmaw Hold before raids open, because one of the entrances to Barrow Deeps leads through it.

The northern hills of Un'Goro Crater hide The Shaper's Terrace for 58-60. Power crystals you collect throughout the crater activate the consoles inside. To secure specific loot from these two instances, our team runs the WoW Forever Blackmaw Hold Loot Run Boost and the WoW Forever Shaper's Terrace Loot Run Boost with your character. These two dungeons round out the list of WoW Forever new dungeons at level 60 and are part of the Master Spelunker challenge.

Classic Dungeons in WoW Forever

Classic dungeons in WoW Forever: Scarlet Monastery, Blackrock Depths, Stratholme, Scholomance and Dire Maul

Alongside the nine new dungeons in Forever, 26 classic dungeons and wings are still available, ranging from Ragefire Chasm to Scholomance. The old Classic loot and quest lists don't apply to Forever because Blizzard has revised the drops and quest rewards in these instances as well. Blackrock Depths (42) and Dire Maul (38) give the most quests. I recommend checking the Forever database for loot you're familiar with from Classic, because old names may now correspond to new stats.

Scarlet Monastery Wings

Scarlet Monastery in Tirisfal Glades is divided into four wings for 30-46, although the client allows access to the monastery starting at level 20. The order of the wings goes from the Graveyard and Library to the Armory and Cathedral, where the final bosses (Herod and High Inquisitor Whitemane) drop the monastery's most valuable loot. Each wing counts as its own entry toward the Experienced Spelunker challenge. There are eight quests for the entire monastery. The monastery also features the six-piece Chain of the Scarlet Crusade mail set, whose bonuses Forever has reworked to be effective versus the undead:

  • Three pieces - the set adds +30 Attack Power versus the undead.
  • Four pieces - when you take damage, Enraging Light has a 15% chance to trigger. For 10 seconds, your melee attacks deal 20 Holy damage, and three times that amount against undead.
  • Six pieces - when your health is at 20% or lower, a shield that absorbs 480 damage is applied to you.

I would collect this set on a melee character wearing mail, because the three- and four-piece bonuses boost damage against undead.

Blackrock Depths and Spire

Of the three Blackrock Mountain dungeons, Blackrock Depths (BRD) for 52-60 unlocks first. Lower Blackrock Spire is designed for 57-60. Upper Blackrock Spire (UBRS) is for level 60 and, like its neighboring dungeons, has its own entry in the Master Spelunker challenge. There are 42 quests in Blackrock Depths and 37 in Blackrock Spire. The main level-60 loot here is dropped by three bosses:

ItemBossDungeon
IronfoeEmperor Dagran ThaurissanBRD
Hand of JusticeEmperor Dagran ThaurissanBRD
FelstrikerWarchief Rend BlackhandUBRS
Blackhand DoomsawWarchief Rend BlackhandUBRS
Dal'Rend's swordsWarchief Rend BlackhandUBRS
Blackblade of ShahramGeneral DrakkisathUBRS

In Classic, Ironfoe gave two extra attacks. Hand of Justice had a 2% chance for an extra attack. These instances are also needed by future raiders of Onyxia's Lair, since the Alliance's Drakefire Amulet questline runs through BRD and UBRS, while the Horde's runs through Lower Blackrock Spire and UBRS.

Stratholme and Scholomance

Stratholme in the Eastern Plaguelands is divided into two dungeons for 58-60 (Live and Undead). Scholomance (also for 58-60) is located in the neighboring Western Plaguelands. In terms of quests, Stratholme has more than Scholomance, 16 to 12. For Master Spelunker, you'll need both of Stratholme's final bosses, because the challenge counts Live and Undead as separate entries.

The loot from the final bosses here is familiar to Classic players. Baron Rivendare (the final boss of Stratholme Undead) drops the Runeblade of Baron Rivendare and the Cape of the Black Baron. In Scholomance, Darkmaster Gandling leaves behind the Headmaster's Charge at the end of the run. For loot farming, I'd choose Stratholme Undead, since Baron Rivendare drops both the weapon and the cape.

Dire Maul Wings

Dire Maul in Feralas gives 38 quests across three wings, with the East wing designed for 58-60. The West and North wings await you at level 60. Master Spelunker counts each wing as a separate entry. In Dire Maul North, a group on a tribute run kills King Gordok but leaves his ogre guards alive to receive three 2-hour buffs from them:

  • Mol'dar's Moxie - a +15% Stamina buff.
  • Fengus' Ferocity - adds +200 Attack Power and up to +230 to spell damage and healing.
  • Slip'kik's Savvy - increases the critical strike chance for spells and attacks by 3%.

The main difference in Forever is evident in the tooltips, which indicate that none of the three buffs work in raid dungeons. This dungeon is linked to Onyxia's Lair via Nostro's Compendium of Dragon Slaying (as the book is called in the Forever database), which is among the loot dropped by its bosses and starts the Quel'Serrar quest chain for level 60 Warriors and Paladins. In the final step, Onyxia breathes fire onto the blade. The red-hot blade is then thrust into her corpse.

WoW Forever Dungeon Loot

WoW Forever dungeon loot: rare boss drops, shared transmog and Tarnished Undermine Real

Blizzard has overhauled all dungeon loot down to the very last drop and upgraded unique boss items to Rare (blue quality). Following this revision, WoW Forever dungeon drops have changed in five ways:

  • Hundreds of new items - Blizzard has added them to both the nine new dungeons and the classic instances.
  • Itemization rule - item stats are matched to a class, biome, or enemy type. According to this rule, the Worgenbane Talisman stuns worgen, while the Archmagister's Faceted Pendant speeds up experience gain from killing undead.
  • Shared Hit and Critical Strike - these stats now work for melee, ranged, and spell attacks. Expertise has replaced Weapon Skill. Equipment with a healing bonus now provides spell power.
  • Blueprint recipes - the loot from specific bosses includes profession blueprints, including items for camping.
  • First-drop loot - players find out what drops from a boss after someone obtains the item. The DungeonMaster add-on's description confirms this with the phrase "In WoW Forever, loot is only known once it drops."

Since dungeon quest rewards now come in class- and role-specific variants, you will receive both experience and gear on your first run through a dungeon with quests. In my opinion, these rewards are more reliable for leveling up than boss loot, since you don't have to roll for them.

Best Dungeon Gear to Farm

World of Warcraft Forever dungeon gear for leveling is best collected from named Rare items in new dungeons and classic ones like Scarlet Monastery. Nine such items await you on your journey from level 13 to 39:

ItemDungeon and BossLevelDrop ChanceWhy It's Valuable
Durgen's Crescent AxeHall of Thanes, Durgen Dirgehammer1328.17%+4 Strength

RavagerScarlet Monastery Armory, Herod3713.97%strikes all nearby targets
Whitemane's ChapeauScarlet Monastery Cathedral, High Inquisitor Whitemane3937.12%up to +20 healing

Drop rates for WoW Forever dungeon drops in the table are taken from Wowhead Forever data, where they range from 13.97% to 37.12% for most of this loot. The longest farm is for the Worgenbane Talisman, with a drop rate of 1.67%. In WoW Forever Dungeon Items, our team runs dungeons on your character for the desired loot (either through multiple attempts or until it drops) because these items are BoP. The main farming targets at level 60 are Blackrock Depths, Upper Blackrock Spire, and Stratholme, from which the WoW Forever Pre-Raid BiS Gear Boost collects pre-raid BiS gear for your class and spec. I recommend preparing for this stage in advance, since Blackrock Depths starts at level 52.

Tier 0 and Tier 0.5 Sets

Dungeon Set 1 (Tier 0) consists of nine class-specific sets, each with eight pieces. Blizzard has restructured their bonuses to trigger at thresholds of two to six pieces and removed the bonus for eight pieces. Wildheart Raiment gives +30 Attack Power and up to +18 to spell damage and healing when three pieces are equipped. The upgrade path to Dungeon Set 2 (Tier 0.5) runs from An Earnest Proposition to Saving the Best for Last via Mux Manascrambler, Anthion Harmon, and Lord Valthalak. WoW Forever gear sets are also available in leveling dungeons:

  • Embrace of the Viper - a leather set from Wailing Caverns, where, at five pieces, melee attacks have a chance to apply Dream Venom, stunning the target for 1 second.
  • Defias Leather - found in The Deadmines, this leather set gives a 5% chance for a backstab to cause a bleed with four set pieces.
  • Rotmender's Raiment - a cloth set from Ruins of Lordaeron. When mana is below 15%, the four-piece bonus restores 200 mana, and twice as much in the Haunted and Wasteland zones.
  • Violet Sorcerer's Vestments - a cloth set from City of Dalaran. With four pieces, the set preserves a portion of your mana regeneration while casting and doubles it in Strongholds and Cities. At five pieces, you gain a chance to summon an Arcane Elemental.

When it comes to cloth loot for leveling, I'd choose a zone-specific set, since Rotmender's Raiment and Violet Sorcerer's Vestments double their bonuses in different types of zones.

Transmog and Tarnished Undermine Real

An Uncommon or Rare BoP item from a dungeon (when looted) unlocks its appearance for all eligible party members. No one rolls for the appearance against someone who needs the upgrade. Epic items are an exception, because their appearance goes to the player to whom the item is bound. You can enable transmog upon your first login or later at the NPC Fyrenz Vishonar. Classic Mode disables transmog and shows you other players in their actual gear.

Along with loot, dungeons drop Tarnished Undermine Real, which you can spend on additional rewards. The in-game description of the currency promises a favorable exchange rate in the goblin cities of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Its cap is 165. I recommend spending it as you play, because coins do not accumulate beyond the cap.

Is There a Dungeon Journal?

The Forever client does not offer a built-in dungeon journal like the retail version, even though players requested it on the Blizzard forums. Add-ons have taken on the role of the WoW Forever dungeon journal:

  • DFL Dungeon Journal - a dungeon quest tracker. Next to each one, the add-on displays its reward.
  • Dungeon Codex - a journal in the style of the retail Adventure Guide. It collects maps with boss markers, loot tables with drop rates, and quests.
  • DungeonMaster - its Mark entrance feature places a marker on the map indicating the dungeon entrance.
  • ForeverDungeonLoot - this add-on shows where loot and recipes come from.

Wowhead maintains the WoW Forever Dungeon Journal website, with a page for each dungeon. The WoW Forever dungeon loot tables in databases and add-ons are updated as people play, because players learn the composition of Forever loot through drops.

Dungeon Quests Worth Doing

WoW Forever dungeon quests worth doing: quest counts for Wailing Caverns, Blackfathom Deeps and City of Dalaran

The main source of experience in dungeons is first-run WoW Forever dungeon quests. Kris Zierhut told The Sun in an interview that Blizzard had reduced the rewards for mobs and increased the experience for dungeon quests. On October 1, the studio cut the bonus experience for these quests by 50%, and on October 8 added 20% to the experience gained from kills in dungeons. I recommend collecting them before your first run, because repeat runs in WoW Forever dungeons no longer give this amount of experience. The eight leveling dungeons vary in the number of quests and the most generous one among them:

DungeonQuestsQuest LevelsQuest with the Most Experience
Ragefire Chasm615-16The Power to Destroy...
The Deadmines517-22The Defias Brotherhood
Wailing Caverns1216-25The Glowing Shard
Blackfathom Deeps1122-27Blackfathom Villainy
Shadowfang Keep325-27Arugal Must Die
The Stockade625-29Quell the Uprising
Razorfen Kraul626-34A Vengeful Fate
City of Dalaran833Heart of Disruption

Among the WoW Forever Wailing Caverns quests, three are new: The Glowing Shard, Waking Naralex, and When Dreams Turn to Nightmares. The Ragefire Chasm quests are collected before entering because they are given by Thrall in Orgrimmar and Rahauro in Thunder Bluff. An example of a major reward for a single quest is the Horde quest Arugal Must Die from Shadowfang Keep, which grants 8,850 experience points.

Is There a WoW Forever Dungeon Finder?

Is there a WoW Forever dungeon finder: LFG listing with four playstyles and no auto-matching

The Forever LFG tool displays groups and players, but it doesn't match anyone or teleport them to the dungeon. Forming a group in the WoW Forever dungeon finder takes five steps:

  1. Create Listing - open the listing and choose the required Playstyle. Without it, the game won't publish your group.
  2. Roles and Details - select your roles and, if needed, check the box for new players, then describe the run in the details field and click List Self.
  3. Group Browser - the dungeon filter leaves the desired instances in the list. Groups appear at the top, and players below them.
  4. Message - before sending a Group Invite, message the player first, as this is standard practice in LFG Forever.
  5. The Way to the Entrance - the group makes its own way to the dungeon, since Meeting Stones in Forever don't summon players. A Warlock summons the group via Ritual of Summoning if they and two other group members are standing at the entrance.

A group with a tank or healer forms faster because players are willing to wait longer for them in listings than for DPS. If you play DPS, I recommend responding to listings that already have a tank.

Carry Offered and Other Playstyles

There are four types of Playstyle in Create Listing, where Carry Offered appears alongside Learning, Relaxed, and Competitive. Blizzard made selecting a Playstyle mandatory in the early October build. The community defines the meaning of these styles, since there are no in-game descriptions for them. Carry Offered marks listings where skilled players lead a run for those who need help with a dungeon or its loot. Players also look for this same format outside of LFG when they need a carry or a loot run that fits their schedule.

Keys and Attunements

WoW Forever dungeon keys and attunements: Dalaran Sewer Key, Shadowforge Key, Skeleton Key and five more

Some World of Warcraft Forever dungeons cannot be entered without a key or attunement, which must be obtained in advance. Just like in Classic Era, the WoW Forever keyring keeps keys out of your bags and doesn't take up loot space. Locked Forever instances require six passes:

  • Dalaran Sewer Key - grants access to City of Dalaran after attunement. The Alliance starts the quest chain with An Alarming Request in Southshore, the Horde with Magus Wordeen Voidglare in Tarren Mill.
  • The Scarlet Key and Workshop Key - the first is found in Doan's Strongbox in the Library and unlocks the doors to the Armory and the Cathedral. Workshop Key drops from Electrocutioner 6000 in Gnomeregan with a 79.95% chance.
  • Scepter of Celebras - creates a portal for the group to Earth Song Falls in inner Maraudon and has a 30-second cooldown.
  • Shadowforge Key and Crescent Key - Shadowforge Key ("Master Key to the Depths") opens the gates to Shadowforge in Blackrock Depths. Crescent Key drops from Pusillin in Dire Maul East with an 80.63% chance and gives access to the West and North wings.
  • Key to the City and Skeleton Key - Key to the City, which drops from Magistrate Barthilas with a 94.25% chance, leads through the service entrance to Stratholme. Skeleton Key unlocks Scholomance.
  • Drakefire Amulet - this amulet is needed by every raider of Onyxia's Lair and works from your bag without needing to be equipped.

The full set spans the entire leveling process. In the All Dungeon Keys Boost, our team collects the keys you choose on a single character. The City of Dalaran Attunement Boost completes the Dalaran Sewer Key quest chain for the Alliance or Horde, starting from any step. I recommend starting with the Dalaran Sewer Key, since this door appears earlier than the others and leads to the secret sewer boss.

Secret Boss Lyn the Ignored

The loot from the secret Rare Elite caster Lyn the Ignored in the City of Dalaran sewers consists of Bonepile Gaze, Cartilage Shapers, and Tendonscraper Dagger. Preparation begins at Shadowfang Keep, where the Black Tome lies on a table in Archmage Arugal's room and can be picked up by anyone in the group. At Ambermill Leyline Focus in Silverpine Forest, this tome becomes the Tome of Dalaran. One such tome is enough for the group. The summon takes place at the purple rune in the northern room of the sewers, which you reach after defeating Atrexis the Grave Knight.

Carries and Loot Runs

WoW Forever dungeon carries and loot runs: a geared team escorting a player's character through Blackmaw Hold

With the WoW Forever Dungeon Boost, our team runs the dungeon with your character in the group (self-play) or as a pilot. The order covers any WoW Forever dungeons and can be customized by the number of runs (one, three, or five) and the option to complete all dungeon quests. Loot priority gives your character the desired WoW Forever dungeon loot from bosses without rolling. For specific tasks, we offer three additional formats:

  • WoW Forever Dungeon Quests Boost - all quests in a single dungeon, a specific bracket, or the entire leveling path up to level 60. Our team collects them at the entrance, in town, and inside the dungeon, completes them, and turns them in, including follow-ups on a second visit.
  • Novice Spelunker Boost, Experienced Spelunker Boost, and Master Spelunker Boost - all challenge dungeons on a single character, either in self-play with our group or with a pilot. Each challenge earns 1 Legacy Point for your account.
  • WoW Forever Dire Maul Tribute Run Boost - a run through Dire Maul North in which the group kills just King Gordok and leaves the ogre guards alive. You receive three 2-hour buffs and a Gordok Tribute chest.

The remaining formats are listed in the WoW Forever boosting services section. I would use the tribute run buffs outside of raids, because they don't work inside one.

WoW Forever dungeons and loot FAQ topics

WoW Forever Dungeons and Loot FAQ

Do WoW Forever dungeons scale with level?

Forever dungeons do not scale with character level, because Blizzard cites the decision not to scale as a core principle of this version of the game. On October 8, Blizzard reinstated the Classic Era rule, under which the experience penalty for low-level mobs depends on each character's level. The range listed in LFG serves as a guideline.

How big is a WoW Forever dungeon group?

The Forever client allows a group of five players to enter a dungeon, which is the size Blizzard designed all nine new instances for. Forever reduced the 10-player limit that classic leveling dungeons had in Classic Era to five. The standard party composition is one tank, one healer, and three DPS.

Can Horde players enter Hall of Thanes?

The Horde can enter Hall of Thanes, although the path to it lies through Alliance territory. Its main quests (Important Heirlooms, The Restless Dead, and Old Ironforge Incursion) are designed for the Alliance. In the first Spelunker challenge, the Horde can count Ragefire Chasm instead of Hall of Thanes.

Where is Ragefire Chasm in WoW Forever?

The entrance to Ragefire Chasm is located in the Cleft of Shadow in the center of Orgrimmar, at coordinates 52.8, 49.6. Characters of levels 13-18 will face four bosses there, ranging from Oggleflint to Bazzalan. The Alliance has access to the entrance, though the route through Orgrimmar is difficult at this level and six dungeon quests are available to the Horde alone starting at level 9.

Which raids come after dungeons in WoW Forever?

Three raids follow the dungeons. In terms of size, they range from Barrow Deeps (10 players and eight bosses) to Hyjal Summit (20 players and 13 bosses). For Onyxia's Lair, which accommodates 40 players, each raider needs a Drakefire Amulet and fire resistance. Blizzard has scheduled the release of all three for December 9 and set them to reset every week.

Will WoW Forever add more dungeons?

Blizzard's roadmap promises World of Warcraft Forever two new dungeons in the spring 2027 update and two more in the summer update. Dataminers have already found maps for Manor Mistmantle in Duskwood and the Half-Pint Tavern in the Arathi Highlands.
